*ROATAN TREE PLANTING PROJECT*
We are excited to be partnering with the Caribbean Tree Planting Project as part of our Green Communities project. Our 2021 goal is to plant 2000 fruit trees in the Bay Islands, with a focus being on “breadfruit” an up-and-coming superfood that also brings food security, climate change, and environmental benefits. We are looking for local businesses, corporate sponsors, community groups, and schools to partner with and assist with tree planting initiatives. *ROATAN LOCAL MARKET*
The RLM project was created in October 2020, in order to assist micro-business development while activating the internal economy of the island. Over 60 artisans who produce a range of locally made handicraft products have joined RLM and participate in regular community markets and pop-up events, with training workshops beginning soon. The RLM project is looking for corporate sponsors and event partners so they can continue to grow, sponsorship packages include promotional and marketing benefits across web, social media, and at events.
